A young soprano, Jackie Evancho is the 10-Year-Old Opera Singer of America’s Got Talent. After giving a mid boggling performance of “O Mio Babbino Caro” from Puccini’s 1918 opera “Gianni Schicci” on “America’s Got Talent” on 10 August 2010, she became an overnight celebrity. When the tiny kid Jackie Evancho opened her mouth and started to sing with amazing big and impressive voice, the audience and the judges Piers Morgan, Sharon Osbourne and Howie Mandel, host Nick Cannon were all became Infatuated. She was awarded a trip to Universal Studios in Florida for receiving the most fan votes from the submissions to the show from YouTube.

Jacqueline Marie "Jackie" Evancho was born on 9 April 2000. Her parents are Michael and Lisa Evancho and she has an older brother, a younger brother, and a younger sister. At the age of seven, she watched the movie Phantom of the Opera and after that she started singing. When her mother heard Evancho singing songs from the movie, she allowed Jackie Evancho to enter a local talent contest just for fun. She was chosen as the runner-up and voted the audience favorite.
Ultimately, she took part in other talent contests and began a YouTube channel. She was an invited performer on the PBS Special "Celebrate America", she has performed onstage with producer David Foster, and conductor/composer Tim Janis and sang the National Anthem at an event honoring aviation pioneer General Chuck Yeager. Evancho has also performed many times at the invitation of Pennsylvania Senator Jane Orie. She also gave performances at several events and charity functions in and around her hometown.
Similar to singers Hayley Westenra and Sarah Brightman, Jackie Evancho sings in the "classical crossover" style. With a voice coach, she studies singing and also plays piano and the violin. Evancho released her debut album called Prelude to a Dream on 1 November 2009. She is scheduled to sing at Carnegie Hall in New York City on 2 December 2010 and will be the youngest female vocal soloist ever to have performed there.
