Hindustan Motors India has recently launched the all new Mitsubishi Cedia Select 2012, which is an upgraded version of well-known Cedia mid-size sedan. This all new sedan comes with a host of new features and it has been priced at Rs. 8.90 lakh. The most remarkable feature in Cedia Select 2012 is the 3G android tablet, which has converted the slick sedan into a power-house of communication-on-move.
Mitsubishi Cedia Select is equipped with a 7-inch Mapmyindia android-based 3G tablet, which can work as a GPS and internal entertainment system. This tablet enables the voyagers for making calls, surfing net, watching TV, checking e-mails and video-chatting on the go. There is a built-in map and real time navigation system, which facilitates the driver to locate directions and localities easily. This Android tablet of Cedia Select is portable; driver can mount it on the windscreen in the front, the rear passengers can mount it on the seats headrest, and it can also be used outside the car, if needed. The 12-volt supply to charge tablet’s 4200 mAh battery is good enough to provide up to 7 hours of talk time.
The company has packed a two-litre four-cylinder engine in this latest sedan, which is capable of delivering peak power of 113bhp and peak torque of 175Nm. Mitsubishi Cedia Select is available only in a petrol variant and the engine is paired with a 5 speed manual gear box.
