A Taiwan based Electronics Company, Acer Inc has revealed new device in its Liquid class, called Liquid Express. Acer Liquid Express has been launched in UK right now and it is estimated to arrive soon in rest of the countries. The new Smartphone is the company's first ever NFC (Near Field Communication technology) enabled handset and packs in some attractive specifications. The Acer Liquid Express is a midrange Android™ 2.3 Gingerbread smartphone available on the Orange Mobile network and also with T-Mobile.
The Acer Liquid Express has a brilliant 3.5-inch large screen in a compact, striking design which makes your smartphone experience to the best feel whether you are browsing or playing games or viewing videos online. The resolution of the screen reaches 320 x 480 pixels that permit for a pixel density of 210 ppi. This handset has a TFT capacitive touchscreen with 256K colors on the display side. The device is powered with Qualcomm MSM 7227 processor clocked at 800 Mhz together with the likes of ROM and RAM with 512 MB. Connectivity accessible consists of WiFi, 3G, Bluetooth and as earlier mentioned, NFC. The battery lasts for 20 days standby time and 6.6 hours of talk time together with minor functions such as FM radio, mp3 player, MMS, video playback, multimedia viewing & 3.5 mm headset jack.

The dimension of the device is 115 x 13.4 x 60.8 mm and weighs 135 grams. The DLNA feature lets you to share content with DLNA enable devices to see the content on HD devices. Acer is sure that the Liquid Express will find lots of takers as it features advanced contact less technology. Overall, Acer Liquid Express looks like a decent mid-range handset available at a good price.
When you refer to the Tablets, Acer has a good name though not so bright with Smartphones. The hardware of this new phone is not very diverse from the other Liquid handsets released by Acer. This handset will have to face firm competition since almost all main handset makers have already released their smartphones in this category. Acer has declared that it will soon release some other smartphones with the NFC technology, promising that all its upcoming Android-run smartphones will draw on the NFC in a better manner.
