During your first meeting with an Air Force recruiter, you will be asked general questions such as why you want to join the Air Force, contact information, age, uncontrollable fears, height/weight, criminal record, medical conditions, level of education completed, illegal drugs, if you’re currently employed or attending high school and much more. If the recruiter sees something that can disqualify you from enlisting, he/she will tell you immediately after asking the general questions. If you meet the standards of the Air Force, then the recruiter will call you for the next phase of the process which includes paperwork and interviews. You will be directed to “The recruiter locating tool” where you can find a recruiter in your area. You have to choose a Recruiting Category: Enlisted and Officer, or Healthcare Professions and enter your Zip code. Zip code is compulsory field. After that, hit the "Search" button. You will see all the Air Force Recruiter offices in your area on the map. All the Recruiter offices on the map are marked with a number.

You are able to see the address, contact number and E-mail address of the recruiter office on the left bottom corner of the page under “Searched Results”. You can also get directions to the recruiter office by clicking the icon on map. To get directions, you have to enter starting address.
