Andrew Shirvell has created a blog for the purpose apparently is to target the President of the student body at the University of Michigan, Chris Armstrong.
Andrew Shirvell is in the news for his blog published by him online in April, 2010 and the title of the blog was “Chris Armstrong Watch”.
Andrew Shirvell, an assistant attorney general for the state of Michigan, who has waged an internet campaign against college student Chris Armstrong, the openly gay student assembly president at the University of Michigan which is located in Ann Arbor.

The University of Michigan's first openly "gay" student president, Chris Armstrong and his supporters have embarked on an exceptional propaganda campaign in support of their radical homosexual agenda now that the new school year has begun, as predicted on this watch site at the very beginning of this month.
Shirvell's boss, Mike Cox speaks out that Shirvell's "immaturity and lack of judgment outside the office is clear. No disciplinary action has been taken". Cox says state employees have a right to free speech outside working hours.
In the blog, number of posts is photoshopped pictures of Armstrong with gay symbols like rainbow flags and swastikas. Also the blog picks apart the student’s Facebook profile.
Chris Armstrong is the first open homosexual campaigner as a student assembly president at the University of Michigan. Andrew Shirvell, the man who started the blog has insisted that there is nothing personal behind his attacks and that he simply disagrees with Armstrong. He also gave a very awkward interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper. He said that Armstrong was pushing for a gender neutral housing area at the University of Michigan. Both men and women would be allowed to live together in a certain housing district that has been set aside.
He has called for Armstrong to quit from his position as the President of the study body at Michigan State. For setting up a blog that attacked the student, most analysts have sided against Shirvell. To express his opinion, there has to be a better way for him without doing so through photoshopped pictures of a college student.
