Basic Job Responsibilities

  • Should be fully conversant with all aspects of branch operations and also have working knowledge of credit and foreign exchange.

  • Should have at least 8-9 years of experience in a decision-making position in a reputed bank.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Should have exposure as an operations head.

Basic Job Responsibilities

  • Proper classification, tally and in-charge of security documents/ items (DDs/ POs/ Cards etc.), fixed assets management, monitor functioning of security systems.
  • Daily monitoring of lotus notes ids, branch operations, scrutinizing vouchers / overdrawn accounts/ office accounts/ any other accounts delegated by the Branch Head and weeding out of zero balance accounts.
  • To supervise and manage the working of all Branch Operations/Front Desk officers so that they deliver superior customer experience.
  • Update and maintain the Branch Documents Register and other statutory notices, records and registers.
  • Ensure that proper controls and checks are adhered to by all operations staff so that all transactions are processed accurately and timely.
  • Effectively motivate the operations staff to achieve the cross-sell targets in addition to the operations responsibilities.
  • Maintain office premises neat and clean and upkeep of office records (vouchers neatly kept either within the premises or offsite) and supervise functioning of ATMs (for branches where there is no ATM Nodal Cell).
  • Filing of TDS and other statutory returns and timely and accurate monitoring and submission of MIS 6 and other internal reports.
  • Supervision of outsourced activities to ensure compliance with internal and external guidelines.
