Celcom Axiata Berhad is one of the oldest mobile telecommunications company in Malaysia. It was established in 1988 with Fleet Group and Telekom Malaysia as shareholders. Its products are 2G, 3G and satellite mobile network operator. Using CDMA Technology and Satellite Phone, CCelcom also provides rural communications services. Through its ART-900 (Automatic Radio Telephone) service, Celcom introduced mobile telephony in Malaysia by using first generation (ETACS) Extended Total Access Communication System specifications of the United Kingdom which is a derivative of the US-AMPS technology.

Nowadays, Celcom provides latest postpaid plans with low rates and bigger discounts. It has fastest, widest and clearest mobile network. Celcom offers four types of postpaid plans such as Celcom Exec 20, Celcom Exec 50, Celcom Exec 250 and Celcom 1+5 Plan. You can also activate any of the plans online to your cell phone. For that, you just have to login in your account by entering your login ID and password after registration. For registration, you have to write ID type and number, mobile number and email address and then mark a tick on term and condition and lastly, click on ‘sign up’ option.

Celcom Exec 20 plan:

All individual customers are able to activate Celcom Exec 20 plan. You can activate this plan through Celcom Branches, Blue Cube, or Celcom Authorized Dealers. With this plan, you can sign-up for additional plan if you have connected with Celcom for a minimum of six (6) months from the date of registration. Each line will be charged RM3 monthly for itemized bills. According to Celcom Exec 20 plan, charges are 20 sen/min on calls, and 10 sen/SMS.

Celcom Exec 50 is the single most elastic postpaid plan with best rates and services that suits on all needs and calls usage behaviors. This plan is the first plan which offers discounts on local calls as well SMS. Celcom Exec 50 plan charges 15 sen on a call to any number. FREE Celcom Broadband Basic Plan for 1 month, Low monthly commitment of RM50, and Automatic discounts are extra benefits of this plan for every month. In the RM50 plan, you will get discount of 10% on total monthly usage between RM60.00 – RM79.99, 20% between RM80.00 – RM149.99 and 30% between RM150.00 and above.

All individual customers are able to activate this plan. With this plan you can also sign-up for the additional plan which is currently offered by Celcom to you. Celcom Exec 250 plan offers 2,000 minutes (voice /video calls) or SMS, FREE Celcom Broadband Advance, a flexible and hassle free rate plan, a comprehensive plan that covers all your mobility needs, etc.

Celcom 1+5 Plan

CELCOM (1+5 Plan) plan is best for the couple who just call each other only, rarely make a call to other person. In this plan, the Principal can register up to a maximum of five (5) Supplementary lines. Celcom 1+5 Plan provides FREE Voice & Video calls, SMS & MMS for your Family. The charges are, 35 sen/MMS, 30 sen/min and 10 sen/SMS and RM5 monthly access fee per supplementary line (charged to 1st bill). Celcom 1+5 Plan allows you up to 20 hours (1200 minutes) of voice or video calls, and 1,500 units of SMS or MMS per subscriber per month with effect from 1 September 2009.

• Voice Rate - 30 sen/min flat rate to any network
• SMS rate - 10 sen/min flat rate to any network
• Video Call Rate - 30 sen/min
• MMS Rate - Within Celcom: 35 sen/MMS, Other Operator: 35 sen/MMS

All the rates of the CELCOM (1+5 Plan) are free between family numbers except standard rate.

Charges for toll-free numbers and directory assistance:

• 100 (Telekom Malaysia's Customer Service Centre) - RM1 per call
• 103 (Telekom Malaysia's directory assistance) - RM2 per call
• 1300 and 1800 numbers - RM0.30 per minute
