One of the grand festivals of Music and Arts, Coachella Festival will return next year and the dates of the festival has announced by Goldenvoice. Coachella Music Festival is a three day music and arts festival organized by Goldenvoice in Indio, California, in the Inland Empire’s Coachella Valley. During this festival, many events of music are held including alternative rock, hip hop, and electronic music as well as large sculptural art.

The Coachella 2011 Music Festival is the 12th edition of the annual Southern California festival that will be held Friday, April 15th through Sunday, April 17th. It will return to the Empire Polo Club in Indio and Indio hotels are standing by for the three-day weekend beginning April 15.

The Coachella faithful resorted last year to imploring and beseeching with the festival organizers to just announce the dates already but Goldenvoice didn't officially release the dates until December. However, this year is different, actually the polar opposite to last year. This year, they announced the dates for Coachella 2011 more than eight months before of time.

The dates of Coachella 2011 are in the same time period as last year. During this period, the festival benefited from comparatively mild temperatures to attract a record 225,000 people over three days. The summer festival is flourishing, even as other facets of the touring biz have struggled. The 2010 edition of the festival, which was headed by Jay-Z, Gorillaz and Thom Yorke, with many, many, many others, drew 75,000 people per day to register a sellout.

No acts have been announced for the Coachella 2011 Music Festival. The festival lineup will be announced in late January by the Los Angeles-based Goldenvoice promoters and the schedule is always announced the week of the festival. Traditionally, California's Country Music Festival is held the weekend after Coachella at the Empire Polo Club.

Coachella festival has been named as the best outdoor festival more often than any other festival of the past decade by concert industry watchdog Pollstar. The countdown of the festival has even already begun so book your plane tickets and hotels and save your money.
