Section Officer

• No. of vacancies: 43 posts
• Category wise: UR-23, SC-6, ST-3, OBC-11
• Pay Scale: PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 Grade Pay Rs.4800

Assistant

• No. of vacancies: 90 posts
• UR-47, SC-13, ST-6, OBC-24
• Pay Scale : PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 Grade Pay Rs.4200/-

Age limit for both post: 28 years as on 23/04/2010. Upper age limit is relaxable only in respect of SC/ST [5 years] / OBC [3 years] / PWD [10 years] / Ex Servicemen [5 years]

Educational Qualification for All Posts:

Bachelor degree of a recognized university in any discipline and Working knowledge of Computer application / office automation software like MS Office is desirable.

Last Date to Apply for CSIR Recruitment: 23/04/2010.

Application Fee: For general and OBC Category, Rs. 700/- and for SC/ST/PH/Ex Servicemen/Women/CSIR Departmental Candidates it’s nil.

Selection procedure: Selection procedure is based on the single All India Online Competitive Examination. And final selection would be done on the basis of performance in online examination, followed by interview and skill test.
