Now, Fans of Lady GaGa have to wait no longer to hear her sing live. Mother Monster, Lady GaGa has released the first 11 dates of her 2012 The Born This Way Ball Tour. She released the dates just few days after the release of Madonna tickets. The tour will start from 27th April, 2012 and end in March, 2013. There will be total 110 shows throughout the world (from which 15 is in Oceania and 15 in Asia). She shared details of her tour through Twitter on 8th February.
She also tweeted that she will announce more opening dates of the tour in North America, South America and Europe. She has displayed new black-and-white poster for “The Born This Way Ball Tour 2012” and gothic castle-themed stage design. The poster has neon purple and turquoise touches as well as features an image of Gaga, wearing a piano dress. She will update the details of tour like seating arrangements (note: the "Monster Pit"), stage sketches, dress code, the set list and official poster through Twitter.
The tour will start from Seoul followed by Hong Kong, Singapore, Brisbane, Tokyo, Sydney, Auckland, Perth and Melbourne. It is the first tour of Lady Gaga after the release of her “Born This Way” album. Since its release, about 6 million copies of this album sold across the world. She will perform music from “Born This Way”, “The Fame” and “The Fame Monster” in the shows during the tour. Nearly 15 million albums of “The Fame” and “The Fame Monster” (combined) have been sold worldwide.
She gained the title of Forbes' Most Powerful Woman in the World in 2011. She was also included in the Time's annual list of the most influential people in the world. On Facebook, she is among the most leading living people with more than 47 million ‘likes’ and on Twitter, she is on top with almost 19 million followers. The tickets for Australia will be available from 17th February at livenation.com.au and ticketek.com.au.
