If you want to use internet banking, you have to register yourself. For registration, you have to complete IDEAL Registration Form and Electronic Banking Board Resolution. After that, mail the completed documents back to DBS Bank Ltd. Then, you have to receive the Welcome Pack form DBS Bank Ltd. Lastly you have to mail back the acknowledgement letter for activation of token. If you want to login in your account, for that you have to write your user ID and password, then click on ‘login’ button. If you want to apply for internet and wireless application form (PDF), then Download it to apply for netbanking services.

Through current day balance and daily statements, account balances are available on internet banking. On real time basis, transaction in IDEAL are validated like Amount (non-zero value), Value Date, Complete of mandatory fields, such as Debit account and beneficiary name, beneficiary account number and ranch code. You can also see online rates for Unit Trusts, Structured Investments, S$ Deposits, Foreign Currencies, Loans for Property, personal, car, etc.

For IBanking Online Services Application Form, you have to insert card number and card pin. After that, select identification type; enter date of birth and passport number. Lastly, press ‘submit’ button. You can only use this form, if you are not an existing DBS iBanking customer. You should be 16 years and must have at least one personal or joint-alternate DBS or POSB account - DBS Auto-save/Current/Savings PLUS or POSB Savings/Current account. visit dbs.com, if you want to know your ATM or Debit card number.

You can also apply for iBanking at their ATMs, for that you have to go to any DBS/POSB ATM Insert card. After that, enter your ATM PIN and Select "More Services" and then choose the language of your choice. Then, Select "PIN Services/Internet Banking" and Choose "Apply for iBanking PIN". Lastly, enter your choice of a 6-digit iBanking PIN. After that, your temporary iBanking User ID will be printed on the ATM transaction receipt. You can also apply for IB Message at ATMs at the same time, by pressing "Continue" button. Then press "Enter" to key in your mobile or message pager number. You will get your iB Message mobile number which will be printed on the ATM transaction receipt.

You can also apply for iBanking via mail, for that you have to fill an application form. In an application form, you have to write your full name (as in NRIC/Passport) and also write your passport number. After that, write your contact details i.e. home phone number, mobile number, office number, email address. Now, fill your account details and mark a tick on the service which you want to activate. Lastly, press ‘next’ button and do as per instruction.
