Devil movie was released on 17 September 2010. Story of Devil movie was written by the most overrated Writer in Hollywood, M. Night Shymalan. Devil is also identified as The Night Chronicles: Devil. It is based on a supernatural thriller movie. Screenplay of the movie is created by Brian Nelson. John Erick Dowdle is the director of movie. This movie is the initial of The Night Chronicles trilogy in which the supernatural thriller is involved within modern urban society.
The movie is about five strangers, who have corrupt pasts. They are trapped in an elevator in a Philadelphia office tower. Many strange and terrifying things happen to the group of five strangers and they realize that and among them, a Devil is roaming around in human form. They all struggle to survive and wanted find out who is the devil among them. After a life of crime, they meet their destiny.
Devil movie has a clever and frightening story about good, evil, fate and faith. The movie starts with a security guard, Ramirez. During the movie, he is a storyteller, says that his mother told him a story about the ‘Meeting of Devil’ and she told that before taking sinners to Hell, the Devil appears and tortures them; it would always start with suicide. The case is soled by the detective at the end of the story. The case is about a gentleman, who lost his wife and kid after a drunk driver hit them.
In this movie, among five strangers, one is a contract killer, one is a black widow scam artist, one is a thief, one is businessman who stole from people and one is the drunk driver, who killed the family of a gentleman, which is the big twist of the movie. In this movie, an old lady is a Devil, who fakes her death in the middle, and discloses herself at the end. The moral of the story is that if there is a Devil then there is God. They both God and devil are at work to bring these people all together, the devil wants the souls of the sinners and god wants them to redeem themselves.
According to some sources, ‘Devil’ movie reminds the Village, where people just have to believe on that acts, which are not much actually ever happen. Shyamalan has lost all confidence in most of people; his films are just incredibly dull and mostly predictable. The story of the movie does not make any sense; the story is basically pointless to take concept in which, any of these people could be “punished” without the elevator concept. Some people says it is an exciting movie, but without fear.
People had a doubt about the elderly woman, who was as soon as shown the surveillance tape of her stealing the wallet in the lobby. People think that when they untied the cord from around her neck, body came down and wallets scattered everywhere. The critically acclaimed director of blockbuster movies has not been skippered by gimmicky premises, leaden performances and his own nebulous ego. Movie contains Gimmicky premises, leaden performances and ego tripping is all far more tolerable, enjoyable even, if mildly stoned. According to some people, it is a short movie.
