1 apple with 2 tsp of peanut butter is a nutritious and low calorie lunch. Cut the apple into 8 slices and dip into the peanut butter and enjoy. Drinking water or a glass of low-fat milk will help this lunch be more filling.

Banana and Oatmeal (350 Calories)

It is a great lunch idea due to great taste of a Banana along with the healthiness of Oatmeal. Either eat both separate, or mix with each other. Try to use Plain Oatmeal to save calories.

Tuna Sandwhich Without mayonnaise (Around 250 calories)

When mayonnaise is not mixed with Tuna, it is very low in calories and can be used in a number of different ways. You can put raw tuna in the middle of two toasted pieces of bread, if you want to make a sandwhich and add some mustard or other 0 calorie sauces, and enjoy.

Veggie Burgers (180 calories)

These burgers taste just like real burgers and are very low in calories. Look up a good recipe on how to make them, or just buy them in stores. Some recipes could make the burger itself around 40 calories only. After cooking burger, put on bun and enjoy.

Plain Chicken Breast (250 Calories)

Cooking a skinless chicken breast makes room for any extra dishes you would like to cook with it. Adding BBQ sauce to the chicken will add around 100 calories.   • 1 tsp. of olive oil
  • 1 tbsp. of balsamic vinegar

Preparation:

Simply fling all ingredients together and serve on a chilled plate with a side of grilled whole wheat bread for a delicious meal.

Low Calorie Vegetable Panini

Ingredients:

  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove, minced fine
  • 1 cup thinly sliced red onion
  • 1 cup peeled, thinly sliced zucchini
  • 1 cup sliced portabella mushroom
  • 1 tsp red wine vinegar
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 4 oz. crumbled feta cheese
  • 8 1-oz. slices italian bread

Preparation:

Over medium-high heat, heat a medium-sized skillet. Add the garlic and onion, and cook for 2 minutes. Add the zucchini and mushroom, and cook an additional 4 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender. Stir in the red wine vinegar and salt. Then heat a two-sided skillet or panini press. With the vegetable mixture, and 1 oz. of feta cheese, Heat Top 4 slices of the bread evenly. Top each panini with 1 slice of bread, and grill for about 4 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the bread is crisp.

Savory Grilled Mozzarella & Tomato Sandwich

Ingredients:

  • 1 Arnold's Sandwich Thin or two slices of whole grain bread
  • 2 slices of fresh mozzarella (about 2 oz)
  • 3 thin slices of fresh, ripe, roma tomatoes olive oil
  • Balsamic vinegar
  • Fresh basil leaves

Preparation:

By raining a bit of olive oil and balsamic on each piece of bread, gather your sandwich. Layer a slice of tomato, mozzarella, and so on until your sandwich is assembled. Place some basil leaves on the top layer. Place the second piece of bread on top and stick it until brown and the contents of the sandwich are fully heated in a panini grill or in a toaster oven.
