Gossip Girl, an American teen drama series is based on the book series of the same name written by Cecily von Ziegesar. Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage created the series and premiered on The CW on September 19, 2007. The unseen blogger "Gossip Girl" narrates each episode, voiced by Kristen Bell.

Ed Westwick portrays a fictional character of Charles Bartholomew "Chuck" Bass, which is in the best-selling Gossip Girl series of novels. Chuck is one of the main characters, serving as the show's antihero however he is a secondary, aggressive character in the original book series. For his financial ambition and personal style, the television series character is noted.

What would Gossip Girl do without their Chuck Bass? In the City of Light, Gossip Girl is jetting off to Paris to kick off season four and leaving the Upper East Side behind. In Paris in early July for the first two episodes of the season, the stars of the series Blake Lively, Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick will be filming on location. Gossip Girl airs at Monday nights 9:00-10:00 p.m. ET on The CW. GOSSIP GIRL will find a glowing Serena van der Woodsen (Lively) and Blair Waldorf (Meester) enjoying their grand and romantic summer in Paris, in the season four premiere. Though, Serena and Blair will be in for a few big OMG surprises when a friend from home mysteriously appears on the scene.

Executive producer Stephanie Savage said, “Paris has always been the ultimate extension of our GOSSIP GIRL world — the home of high fashion, Michelin star restaurants, chic night clubs, and Blair’s favorite sweet (macaroons, of course!)”.

And further added, “We’re thrilled to be able to share with our fans that this fall GOSSIP GIRL is going to Paris. We hope that they’ll come along with Blair, Serena and Chuck for the first two episodes of season four.”
