The national airline of United Arab Emirates, Etihad Airways offers air travel inside as well as exterior the country. It is situated in Abu Dhabi, the capital of UAE. Etihad Airlines was launched in July 2003 and operates 147 daily flights to 64 destinations in 42 countries such as Europe, Asia, Oceania, Africa and North America through a fleet of 54 aircraft. The main base of Etihad Airways is Abu Dhabi International Airport, and its head office is located in Khalifa City A, Abu Dhabi.
Etihad also earns income from its cargo operations and subsidiary income apart from its core activity, passenger transportation. Etihad Crystal Cargo is a cargo division of the airline, which started operations in 2004. More than seven million passengers were carried by Etihad Airways in 2009, compared with 340,000 in its first full year of operations in 2004. Its total income is US$2.3 billion. Since its inauguration in 2003, Etihad Airways has been honored with over 30 awards. Skytrax gives it a four star rating in the UK-based airline consultancy service.
An extensive international route network is maintained by Etihad Airways besides the domestic services. An extensive international route network covers U.S, Canada and Australia, apart from European destinations like Russia, Switzerland, Turkey, U.K, Ireland, Greece, Germany, Belgium, Italy, France, and Belarus. It serves India, China, Nepal, Pakistan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Kuwait, Lebanon, Cyprus, Singapore, Thailand, Iran, Jordan, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria and Kazakhstan in Asia. In the African continent, the air service caters to Libya, Morocco, Egypt, South Africa, and Sudan.
Airbus A300-600RF and McDonnell Douglas MD-11F are two aircrafts of Etihad Crystal Cargo Fleet and also it has three Airbus A330-200F. At present, UAE sports clubs, like the Abu Dhabi Rugby Union Football Club, the Abu Dhabi International Sailing School and the Abu Dhabi International Marine Sports Club (ADIMSC), as well as the Al-Jazira Club are being sponsored by Etihad Airways. The airline announced sponsorship for the Harlequins Rugby Club and Harlequins Rugby League club (UK) in 2007.
Three classes of passenger travel such as First Class or Diamond Zone, Business Class or Pearl Zone and Economy Class or Coral Zone are offered by Etihad Airways. On all aircraft, Pearl Zone and Coral Zone are available, but Diamond Zone is available on selected aircraft. Personal LCD screens are fitted in all classes for in-flight entertainment. An AVOD (audio-video on demand) service is offered by Eithad Airways to its passengers. Some aircraft of the airline also contains in-flight telephony system. Additionally, passengers on board are also served with other in-flight services like food, water, etc.

Glomin Abraham: Interaction was good. Itenary on Turkish airline was given on time. However it is now 10 days since I sent all the necessary paper work for the ticket and I am yet to receive the confirmed ticket. Guest's Review of Etihad Airlines: Travelling from Manchester on 7 June 2010 to Abu Dhabi. This should have been a holiday of a life time for me, got to Manchester airport to be told that they had overbooked in PEARL class which I should have been in. I ended up travelling Coral class on the outward journey and thank god got my PEARL seat on the way home. I was informed at Manchester that they would refund me within 3 weeks.. weeks later I am still chasing up my refund, every time I ring Etihad they say the same thing, 'we have no details on our screen I will email Manchester', this has been going on for 3 weeks constantly even though I am in receipt of an email from Guest affairs stating that they were fast tracking my refund!!! The after sales service is terrible and has definately put me off booking again with Etihad.

A guest of Etihad Airways: The flight was good but unfortunately I found a bug on my seat or in my leg cover which bite my bum for the all journey. Overall I was in pain and because I never received any feed back from them I don't think that I will raccomend this company to anyone.
Azam Dabbagh: Etihad Airway Ey 0612, we are a family of 4 with my wife’s nephew also traveling with us. On Saturday 28th February 2009 my family and I arrived to Casablanca international airport at 6.30am to depart to Australia. We went through the usual protocol, we arrived to where the passengers were boarding, handed our tickets to the ground crew, This is where the problem started; we were given the wrong boarding passes without our knowledge. No body from the entire Etihad Airway would help us or wanted to get involved. I am requesting immediate action towards the flight crew and dismissal of Soumia, flight crew chief. This whole matter was handled wrong and this should have never happened we should have never been told to leave the plane. The seating part we could proberly get over in time, but the part when the flight attendant called my wife a dog, it was in Arabic.
