Giant George dog is of 4 years old and weighs more than 245 (111 kg) pounds and he is 7 feet 3 inches tall. He consumes more than 110 pounds of food every month and he has to "Bend Over to Drink Out of the Kitchen Faucet." His owner David and Christine Nasser said that George sleeps alone in the house on his own queen-sized bed.

Guinness organizer said Giant George is tall from hand to shoulder, which is three-quarters of an inch taller than his closest rival, Titan, a white Great Dane from San Diego, California. The 4-year-old Titan took the title of world's tallest dog in 2009 after Gibson, a Great Dane from Grass Valley, California, who was 42.2 inches tall but he passed away from bone cancer last August. Giant George also appeared on the Oprah Winfrey show. Mr Nasser says, “Everyone on Oprah's staff was so nice, warm and friendly. What a great group of people that works for the Oprah show!”
Guinness officials told there were contradictory reports about Giant George's height, so they send a judge to verify it.
