God of War II is another hack action-adventure video game which was released in North America on March 13, 2007, in Europe on April 27, 2007, and May 3, 2007 in Australia. In this game the player controls Kratos in a combination of combat, platforming, and puzzle game elements. Kratos main guns are Athena's Blades which are on the ends of long chains so the Kratos is able to swing in destructive paths and also use scale rock faces or swing from special hook points.

Arena of the Fates:
Receive Titan rank on The Challenge of the Titans to unlock in the Treasures section. Kind of a practice mode where you choose the health/magic/abilities/enemies, etc.

Challenge of the Titans Mode:
Complete the game on any difficulty mode to unlock in the treasures section. Exactly like the Challenge of the Gods mode from the first God of War, except there are 7 challenges.

Urns of Power:
Complete the game to employ in play (you find 4 of the 6 through your adventure; the last two you must earn through high ranks in the challenges).

Unlockable Costumes:

Athena : Complete the game on Titan mode.

God of War costume : Complete the game on any difficulty level.

Dark Odyssey : Complete the game on God mode.

General Kratos : Collect 20 Cyclops eyes. Must kill them with a context-sensitive move. Meaning the O button.

God Armor (The best costume, Doubles all stats) : Receive God ranking in Challenge mode.

Hercules : Complete the game on Titan mode.

Hydra Armor : Complete the game on any difficulty level.
