Gossip Girl is an American TV series based around the set of books by Cecily von Ziegesar. The series was created by Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, and premiered on The CW on September 19, 2007. The CW announced on Feb 16, 2010 that it will renew the show for a fourth season, beginning in fall 2010. The show is based on the lives of socialite young adults growing up on New York's Upper East Side. According to report, young Aussie Actress Siybella Deen will be part of the Season 4 cast of Gossip Girl.

According to the article, Siybella Deen won a prestigious acting and modelling award and as part of her prize was a guest spot on Gossip Girl (GG). Apparently the Casting directors were so impressed that they extended to a three episode stint. The series mainly centers on the lives of former best friends, Serena van der Woodsen (Blake Lively) and Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester). These two share a love interests in Nate Archibald (Chace Crawford).
It was just confirmed that Vampire Diaries is picked up for a whole season and that Melrose Place has got 5 more episodes (spoilertv).
