"Hope for Haiti Now," A Global Benefit for Earthquake Relief, aired across a number of networks, including MTV on Friday January 22 at 8 p.m. ET/PT and 7 p.m. CT. “Hope for Haiti Now" is produced by Joel Gallen and Tenth Planet Productions, in collaboration with Viacom's MTV Networks and George Clooney. George Clooney’s Hope for Haiti becomes increasingly victorious due to lot of performers joined the roster of performers. The aim of their live performance during the Hope for Haiti telethon is to raise fund for Haitians. Jay-Z, Rihanna and U2, as well as Sheryl Crow and Kid Rock are involved among the roster of performers in this Haiti Concert. On MTV, these performances will take place in New York, Los Angeles, London and Haiti during the 2-hour special. In this noble cause, other performers can also join. Taylor Swift and Keith Urban, R&B singers Mary J. Blige, Alicia Keys and Jennifer Hudson, as well as Justin Timberlake, Wycleaf Jean and Bruce Springsteen are included in the Hope for Haiti performers line up of artists.

Jackson, Tom Hanks and Will Smith are among the many participants, who joined George Clooney, in New York.
On Thursday, Clooney told MTV News that "about 130 to 140 actors, athletes, singers and television hosts will answer you question on phone. The telethon's main goal is to "raise money, period. That's it. ... Just first and foremost that we can raise a lot of money". Pop legend Madonna (in New York) and Haitian artist Emeline Michel performed in Los Angeles. Wyclef Jean, Bruce Springsteen, Jennifer Hudson, Mary J. Blige, Shakira and Sting performed in New York. Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilera, Dave Matthews, John Legend, Justin Timberlake, Stevie Wonder and Taylor Swift performed on the stage and Keith Urban, Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow performed in group in L.A. Beyonce, Coldplay and collaboration between Bono, The Edge, Jay-Z and Rihanna were featured in London.
iTunes customers will be able to exclusively pre-order the “Hope for Haiti Now” full-performance album to further increase the chances for more contributions, beginning on friday, for just $7.99 and for $1.99, the full two-hour video telecast of Hope for Haiti Now Concert. In the days following the Haiti telethon, pre-orders will be delivered. For purchase and download for 99 cents each in the days following the telethon, individual audio performances will also be available.
“Hope for Haiti Now” charities, including the Red Cross and Wyclef’s Yele Haiti foundation manage Haiti relief funds, in which Apple will donate proceeds of the sale through its iTunes music store. Through distribution provided by INgrooves, for purchase in the days following the event through Amazon’s MP3 service and Rhapsody, performances will also be available.
