iberry, a leading company manufacturing electronic goods from Hong Kong has launched two budget tablets in the last October, the iBerry BT10 and  iBerry BT07. Currently, the company is targeting the Asian and primarily targeting the Indian tablet market with its low cost tablets. Both these tablets seem to be offering a great value for money for their quoted price. These tablets are the second cheapest after the recently launched $35 Tablet. The features also look quite promising; let’s take a close look towards the iBerry BT07.

Design and connectivity:

Sporting a stunning black body, this tablet weighs 355 grams. It has a dimension of 200 x 120 x 13mm with a resolution of 800×480pixels. It has a WXGA TFT LED Resistive Touchscreen with a size of 7.0 inches. The Aspect Ratio of the tablet is 16:9. It is equipped with 2 USB slots (USB 2.0 and Mini-USB OTG), and one HDMI. The mini USB port can be used to connect pen drives and other peripherals. It can also be used to connect an external keyboard or mouse to use it like a laptop. It also has a 3.5mm headphone jack which can be used for stereo. Memory card slot is also provided. A carry case, battery charger, earphone and USB cable is provided with the phone. It sports a 2 megapixel front facing VGA camera. With a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels, it supports digital zoom. It comes with an audio, video and still support. It supports full HD 1080p video playback in various codecs like AVI, AVS, MKV, RMVB, RM, MP4, WMV, MPEG4, MOV, DAT, VP8, VOB RV, H.264, Xvid, FLV, DivX, H.263 and 3GP. It is loaded with the Adobe flash player 10.2. Backed up by WXGA TFT LED screen the 800×480 pixels resolution creates a grand video experience. The tablet comes with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery of 4000mAH power. With this battery, you can play videos up to 5 hours or play audio up to 40 hours. Or you can browse over Wi-Fi up to 6 hours.

Storage and processor:

The iberry BT07 tab has a memory including 512mb of DDR2 RAM & 4 GB internal memory. The storage capacity can be extended to 32GB through an external memory card. It has an ARM Cortex A8 1.2 GHz processor with a 512kb level 2 cache. For the ease of optimal performance, power efficiency, and integration the level 2 cache is incorporated into the core. It runs on an Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system. Undoubtedly, it is the most powerful CPU among any tablet of its price range.

Applications and Gaming:

The tablet is pre-installed with official Google android market which provides access to thousands of applications. It is also pre-installed with Office Suite pro for creating & viewing word; PowerPoint, Excel files. Youtube, Twitter and Facebook are also pre-installed. The tablet is equipped with an application called ‘shelves’ that allows reading and bookmarking the e-books. Another strong feature of this tablet is gaming. For providing a good gaming experience for HD & 3D games the 3D graphics OpenGL ES 2.0 is given. To play the games using the keypad is not required. The highly sensitive tilt control will make the gaming experience an addiction for the user.
