Triangular series between India & SriLanka & New Zealand has been scheduled. Most of the Triangular Series matches will be taken place at Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium, Dambulla. The series will be started on 10th August, 2010 with first match between India Vs New Zealand in Sri Lanka.

In the Indian team, Yuvraj Singh returns in to the 15-man team after dropped from the Asia Cup 2010 due to his fitness and Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar, Gautam Gambhir and Harbhajan Singh have been rested for the Micromax tri-series. The national selector has selected Ross Taylor as a captain of New Zealand team because Daniel Vettori is awaiting the birth of his second child and Kyle Mills has been selected as a vice captain from New Zealand.
Indian team is on 64 days tour of Sri Lanka. They has first joined the Asia Cup 2010, and then they will play three test series matches against Sri Lanka and their tour will be ended with triangular series of India, Sri Lanka and New Zealand.
Last year, the same participated cricket teams of a tri-series played match in “Compaq Cup” at Sri Lanka. That time, India won the cup in final match against Sri Lanka. Since 2000, New Zealand has not won any major tournament so the Kiwis expected to win this title. During this time, Indian team has no its premier batsmen and key bowler so the team have to fight without them, but MS Dhoni expects that the team will win the Micromax cup.
Currently, India plays the Asia Cup 2010 test match with Sri Lanka. The first test match occurred on the Galle International Stadium from 18th of July to 22nd of July and the match was ended in a draw. In the second test match, the Sri Lanka won by 10 wickets which held at P Sara Oval, Colombo from July 26th to 30th. Now, the third and final test will be played from August 3rd to 7th at Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium.
Following the Asia Cup 2010 test series, India will play ODI triangular series. India will play first match against New Zealand on 10th August, on 16th August, 2010, against Sri Lanka, on 22nd August against New Zealand and 25th of August against Sri Lanka. At the end of the series the final tri-series match will be played at Rangiri International Stadium, Dambulla by last two top teams on August 28th 2010.
