It looks like a season of reality shows now in India with a flood of American and british titles coming up soon and some already happening. India’s Got Talent is arguably one of the most watched reality shows on television which is coming soon with its second season as ‘India’s Got Talent Khoj 2’. India’s Got Talent’ returns to Colors, India’s entertainment destination, with a new and intense search for some ordinary people with astonishingly extraordinary talent. It goes deeper, travels from Jaipur to Muzaffarpur, Guwahati to Gwalior, Srinagar to Thrissur to find ordinary people with extraordinary talent.
Auditions for India’s Got Talent 2010 were recently completed and the show is getting ready to be aired. Appropriately named 'Khoj 2', India's Got Talent is not pulling any stops and is disposed to excavate way deeper than last season to retrieve those hidden charms from the pits of our country. The rules of the game remain the same, the game itself changes as this season will see an exponential growth in participation and subsequently in the kind of acts that will be performed.
The opening act of the launch conference was performed by the Prince Dance Group from Orissa who hold the credit of being the winners of India’s Got Talent Season 1. The group which has been benefited with many events and recognition, they have bagged the opportunity to display their talent in the opening ceremony of the Common Wealth Games to be held this year. The jury of the show, the two lovely ladies Kirron kher and Sonali Bendre will be accompanied by none other than multi-talented writer, director and performer Sajid Khan. The charming hosts Nikhil Chinappa and Ayushman will return as Jai and Veeru to pep up morale.
Ashvini Yardi, Programming Head of Colors asserted, “After the successful first season, we plan to outdo ourselves in the second one. We are traveling to over fourteen cities and the audiences are in for a rocking season with India’s Got Talent Khoj2.” The search for the most entertaining act of India has begun and the result is sure to be nothing short of stunning. Kirron Kher felt that it was like coming back home while Sonali Bendre confessed that the show would be looking to raise its bar this time although it might be difficult to match the talent of the Prince Group. India’s Got Talent Khoj 2 will be launched in the first week of August.
