IPL is being more popular cricket tournament in all over the world. IPL (Indian Premier League) and Sahara India Pariwar organizes IPL Awards 2010. So this awards is called 'Sahara IPL Awards'. IPL Awards 2010 will be conducted from 07:30 on 23rd April, 2010 p.m at Grand Hyatt in Mumbai.The IPL awards 2010 is combination of cricket and entertainment. Shahrukh Khan and Karan Johar will host this award event. In this award function, winners will be awarded for their best performances of batting, bowling, fielding, most stylish player, best stadium, commentator, etc. in IPL match. Chairperson of IPL, Lalit Modi declared list of IPL 2010 award’s nominations.  In 22 categories, IPL 2010 awards will give awards such as IPL Jury Awards, Viewers Choice Awards, Statistical Awards, The IPL Captain’s Award, Best Commentator, Most stylish player,  Winner’s Awards, etc. 

In this event many leading entertainer of India will perform at DLF IPL awards such are : Shilpa Shetty, Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra, Oscar winner A.R. Rahman, and Hrithik Roshan.

IPL 2010 Awards Nominations:

• Best Batsman: Sachin Tendulkar, Jacques Kallis, Murali Vijay, Suresh Raina, and Robin Uthappa.
• Best Fielder: Yusuf Pathan, Abhishek Jhunjhunwala, Suresh Raina, Keiron Pollard, David Warner, and AB de Villiers.
• Best Bowler: Harbhajan Singh, R Ashwin, Ryan Harris, Pragyan Ojha, R Vinay Kumar and Zaheer Khan.
• Best Debutant: Kieron Pollard, Ambati Rayudu, Michael Lumb, Faiz Fazal, Shaun Tait, MD Mishra, Doug Bollinger.
• Best Breakthrough Performance: Adam Gilchrist, Brendon McCullum and Sohail Tanvir (for 2008-2009). A winner will be selected from each of the previous two years seasons.
• Most Dramatic Performance: Juan Theron, Yusuf Pathan, David Warner, Robin Uthappa, Murali Vijay, Harbhajan Singh, and Shane Warne.
• Most Consistent Performance: David Warner, Shane Watson, Irfan Pathan, Kieron Pollard, Harbhajan Singh, and Andrew Symonds.
• Best Ground: Mumbai – Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai – DY Patil Stadium, Ahmedabad, Mohali, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata, Nagpur, and Jaipur.
• Best Stadium Experience: Delhi, Chennai, and Bangalore.
