The 5th Independent Television Festival (ITVFest) schedule has been announced. The Festival will be held from July 29 to Aug 5, check the ITVFest 2010 Schedule. As part of the ITVFest 2010, independently produced television pilots and web series are selected. There are 52 television pilots and web series selections included in this year ITVFest.

About Independent Television Festival:

The Independent Television Festival is an annual non-profit festival. In this festival, fans, artists, and executives celebrate independent small-screen productions. It was founded in 2006 The producer AJ Tesler firstly started to celebrate this festival during the 2006 which was occurred at Los Angeles, California. The purpose behind this festival is to give independent fledgling television and web series makers the chance to share their work with the community and television professionals. ITVFest is one of the two television festivals in all over the world. The other Television Festival is New York Television Festival. However, ITVFest is the first festival that devoted to independently produced pilots and webseries.

AJ Tesler, an executive director explains the ITVFest: "will allow people who have previously had little or no access to television decision makers the forum for which they have tirelessly strived."

ITVFest 2010:

Independent Television Festival will be started with the Opening Night Red Carpet Gala at Laemmle’s Sunset 5, 8000 Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles, CA on July 29th, 2010. The festival’s opening day will be held on Friday, July 30th, 2010 and completed on the following Thursday, August 5th, 2010. On the last day of the festival, the awards will be declared.
