Jeanette Aw is a television actress from Singapore. She was born in June 28, 1979. Jeanette Aw Blog's provides information about Jeanette Aw’s life, her achievements, and many more. Raffles Girls' Primary School, Crescent Girls' School, National Junior College and National University of Singapore successively were attended by her.

In the talent search contest titled 'Route To Glamour', out of 6 contestants, she was the champion. The now defunct television network, MediaWorks organized the talent search contest. The Best Performer was awarded by her and Best Newcomer on the same year in her first year in Mediaworks. Later that year, in a Taiwanese production, she was invited to co-star.

Career Highlights

Jeanette Aw unrelentingly left Mediaworks in mid 2002, to join a rival company Mediacorp however Mediaworks had groomed her. Only then, in the first Mediacorp drama Beautiful Connection, drivable acting skills were started to show by her. In the long-running drama "Holland V", Popularity as the simple, slightly absent-minded but kind-hearted Mo Jingjing was disputedly gained by her. For that role at the 2003 Star Awards, a Best Actress nomination was earned by her, but lost to a more capable actress, Chen Li Ping.

Currently managed jointly by Hype Company (Artiste Network) and MediaCorp, as one of the 3rd generation successors, she brazenly portrays herself for the respected title of “Ah Jie” (big-sister) by following the footsteps of experienced person actress, Fann Wong. In the 2009 Channel 8 countdown party she was voted for her 4 roles out of 8 others that played in 2008, Lin Keyi, Huang Juxiang and Yamamoto Yueniang by her obsessed fans, by giving a rude shock to the hosts.

Aw now has a considerable bedeviled fan base, “Jeanius” (a pun on the actress’ name and the word “genius”) was called by a group. Personally, Aw herself recognizes this fan group, and thus thus sketches flocks of supporters from around Singapore. As 1st female lead, in a Singapore television serial, The Little Nyonya was starred by Jeanette, and her double roles made her demented fans berserk.

As the hot favorite to win Best Actress in Star Awards 2009, a dogmatic Mediacorp decorated Jeanette, though she lost it and the award was received by Joanne Peh in the same drama. Regrettably, her 5th Top 10 Most Popular Female Artiste Award was received on the actual night by Jeanette.
