Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University is situated in Uttar Pradesh’s, one of the biggest industrial city Kanpur. Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University is known as Kanpur University and stands as a hallmark of higher education. For more than three decades, Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur has been on the map of higher education. In 1966, Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University was established, currently it has 170 affiliated colleges in 15 districts and it has not looked back. The university is thriving with academic activities and spreading over a campus of 264 acres. In affiliated colleges and institutions, the university offers undergraduate and post-graduate programs in all disciplines of Art, Science, Commerce, Law, Engineering and Medicine. Faculties of Life Sciences, Business Management, Education and English are included in the residential wing of the campus. The university has a computer centre, Communication and a College Development Council, a department of Adult and Continuing Education. The university has recently started an institute of Engineering and Technology in the campus for catering to the needs of young engineering aspirants and it offers courses in four branches of engineering viz. The university looks for to contribute an education to student through curriculum design, the development of new courses and the application of an onward looking and original teaching methodology.

Instructions of Application forms:

• If the system has the font "Arjun Wide" installed, it is required to be removed from the system to see the pages in the downloaded font.
• Some of the forms are in Hindi. The Hindi Pages may be visible after a little delay (say 2 to 3 minutes). It needs to install a Web Font Player. If you are prompted to install the player, click on "Yes". The player gets downloaded automatically and installs the dynamic font and Hindi pages are visible thereafter.
• Hindi pages will be displayed in IE 5.0 and above and in Netscape 4.03 and above.
• These forms provide detailed information regarding documents and other necessary information required from the candidates. These forms are available at the University Counter against cash payment.
