Veteran telugu film actor Kota Srinivasa Rao's Son Kota Prasad died in a road accident. The accident took place on Outer ring Road, near Narsing, Mehdi Patnam in Hyderabad on Sunday 20 June, 2010 midday.

When the accident took place, Kota Prasad was going to Shamshabad Airport on his motor bike. His bike was hit by a truck. He was instantly shifted to a corporate hospital, Langar House, where he was declared dead in the evening. The death body of Kota Prasad is moved to Osmania General Hospital for the postmortem formalities.

After knowing about this incident, Kota Prasad’s father is back from Bangalore in the Hyderabad . For Kota srinivas Rao, Father’s day became a very shocking day because he had lost his son on that day. The whole Tollywood expressed shocked over the death of Kota Prasad. It is also said that he is doing a very special role inGayam-2 along with his father Kota Srinivas rao.

A senior police has reportedly told PTI that “The incident occurred at around 2.15 pm when the sports bike which K Prasad was riding collided with a mini van at ORR.” Kota Prasad is survived by wife and two children. He was just 39 year old. He acted a police officer role in one Jagapathi Babu’s Telugu film “Siddham” that directed by JD Chakrvarthy and released last year. He had also signed a couple of other films.
