The Lonelyplanet.com's nine sweepstakes have many different prizes. Lonely Planet Nine's Italian Getaway Sweepstakes period has been started from December 25, 2009 and it will end on January 31, 2010. To enter in this contest visit the official website or homepage Lonelyplanet.com/nine.

Eligibility: Open only to legal residents of the United States of America.
Timing: You can enter between 12 am EST on December 25, 2009 and 11:59 pm EST on January 31, 2010.
How to Enter Lonely Planet Nine's Italian Getaway Sweepstakes: To enter, go to www.lonelyplanet.com/NINE and complete an entry form. You don't have to buy anything to enter.
Limit: You can only enter once, and your entry is received at the time Lonely Planet actually receives it.
Prizes:
First Prize:

• The Magnifica package, including roundtrip air for two from one of Alitalia's US gateways to Rome and 3 nights accommodation at a 4-star property on the Via Veneto in Rome, or such other location as determined by us or in our sole discretion. All taxes and fees are included in air and the 10% VAT is covered for the hotel stay.
• Packages out of New York-JFK, New Jersey-EWR, Chicago O'Hare-ORD, Boston Logan-BOS and Miami International-MIA must be utilized by May 31, 2010, and the following black-out dates apply: March, 12-15 2010 and April 30 - May 2, 2010.
• Packages out of Los Angeles International - LAX are valid beginning June 5, 2010 through December 31, 2010.
• All travel is subject to availability e.g. the need to select dates when there are seats/nights available, and all travel must be on Alitalia operated flights only.
• Winners will be provided with award letters that outline the prize info/travel dates and who to contact in order to make the reservation.
• One Lonely Planet Guidebook Pack, including a copy of the brand new, full-color Discover Italy guide, a Rome City Guide and an Italian Phrasebook & Audio CD.

10 Second Prizes:

• A Lonely Planet Italy guidebook pack, including the brand new, full-color Discover Italy guide and an Italian Phrasebook & Audio CD.
• The official NINE movie soundtrack. Total value of Second Prizes is US$43 per winner for 10 winners.

Winners:
We'll give the winner the good news by email and/or phone and their name will be published on the Lonely Planet website within 2 days after the draw. If you're riddled with curiosity, send us a stamped, self-addressed envelope to us within 3 months of the date of the draw, and we'll write back and tell you who won.
