Eminem's highly-anticipated music video for his duet track with Rihanna "Love the Way You Lie" is released now. ‘Love The Way You Lie’ is a song recorded by American rapper. The music video of the song features Eminem and Rihanna which is the second single off the rapper’s hit album “Recovery.” In the video, both of them are looking good. For both singers, the song and clip are very symbolic as it deals with domestic violence. The song is kind of redemption of Eminem’s past violence with his on and off girlfriend Kim.
The song follows a tumultuous relationship with a lot of violent scenes, featuring top-notch actors Megan Fox and Dominic Monaghan. Joseph Kahn is the director of this music video and it is based on the troubled relationship between Eminem and his two-time ex-wife, Kim.
Eminem said in a statement, “Joseph and I worked pretty closely together to make sure we got this right. Trying to make this tough subject work visually is a challenge. It was great to have Rihanna, Megan and Dominic on board for this … .they really brought it and made this video super-powerful.”
The “Love The Way You Lie” song lyrics are truly strong and there is a lot of talk about violence and the fact that one lover enjoys how much suffering that lover goes through and doesn’t really complain about it. In the lyrics, some words are also there that tell about the time when a relationship reaches a low point and anger and fury gets so out of hand that the guy even hits the girl. Overall, it is a great and emotional song.
