Luisana Loreley Lopilato de la Torre was born in 18 May 1987 to Eduardo and Beatriz Lopilato. She has two siblings, actor Darío and nutritionist Daniela. In 1995, Lopilato made her first appearance in television series as a child model. With television series Chiquititas, Luisana made her singing debut and recorded five Chiquititas soundtracks. Along with Camila Bordonaba, Felipe Colombo and Benjamín Rojas, She starred and formed a pop band Erreway.
Three studio albums such as Señales (2002), Tiempo (2003) and Memoria (2004) were released by Erreway with more than 5 million copies were sold worldwide. In Argentina, Señales and Tiempo earned Platinum certification and Memoria earned Gold certification. It was confirmed that Lopilato would record a solo album, and that she had signed with Universal Music Group.
She dated her Chiquititas and Rebelde Way co–star Felipe Colombo for five years.
