We, the people of India are facing the consequences of high petrol price that has hit the Indian auto sector. At this point of time, the country’s leading auto manufacturer Maruti Suzuki will be soon launching a high fuel efficient car named Maruti Alto 800. It is predicted that the company will begin the production of the car in the month of July or August at Gurgaon manufacturing plant. With the upcoming festive season ahead, Maruti Suzuki India Limited will ensure a successful launch of Alto 800 in the market during Diwali. The estimated price of Alto 800 is around Rs. 3.5 lakh.

The forthcoming Alto 800 model might try to fill the gap with LPG-Petrol dual fuel model due to the increasing petrol price that is climbing up high, making fuel options like LPG and CNG more viable choice. The new Alto might feature the use of triple cylinder with 800cc fuel infused petrol engine. It is expected that, the engine might be equipped with latest technologies that will deliver high fuel economy making it more expensive than the previous Alto.
Maruti Alto 800 will get a new fascia with a small grille in the front and pulled back headlamps. The lower grille is hexagonal in shape and the complete facade almost looks like the Ford Figo. Alto 800 gets the same beltline as the A-Star. The interior of the car will be completely renovated; the headrests will be integrated into the front seats, it will offer better headroom with enough space, for the passengers to sit comfortably and along with that there will be a change in the dashboard design too. Maruti Suzuki doesn’t need any competition to survive; it is all set to launch its new venture.
