After Intex and Spice, MAXX Mobiles is ready to throw its hat in the market of projector phones in India. It is clearly seen that Indian mobile manufacturers are gradually taking more interest in projector phones. The latest full touch-screen projector phone launched by MAXX Mobiles is the MAXX Focus MTP9. This is a Java-enabled device and it comes with Opera Mini application that offers on-the-go browsing. MAXX Focus features a built-in projector and also provides a free projector stand. MAXX Focus MTP9 is a dual SIM (GSM + GSM) device and it is available in the Indian market at the price tag of Rs 6,999.
According to managing director and chairman of Maxx Group, Ajjay Agarwal, with the Maxx Focus MTP9, MAXX Mobiles is going to launch new features including a touchscreen and the in-built projector. MAXX believes in 'entertainment mobility' concept and so it has ensured the users experience in both audio and video by providing the wide range of features and applications.
This latest projector phone is powered with 208 MHz processor, and it sports 2.8" resistive QVGA TFT full touchscreen display with resolution of 240 x 320 pixels & 5-MP camera with digital zoom. Maxx Focus comes with preinstalled King Movie Player app which enables users to enjoy full length video/movie, by compressing the real video size to 1/10th without quality compromise. The handset is loaded with 1 GB flash memory and it supports 3GPP as well as MP4 formats. Focus is packed with Li-ion 1200 mAh battery that is good enough to provide a talk time of up to 4.5 hours and standby time of 400 hours.
This device comes in black with silver colour. Focus MTP9 has been arrived with 1G+256 MB built-in Memory, as well free 4 GB memory card and the memory will be expandable up to 16 GB. It comes with preloaded video/audio content; as well it features loud speakers, so it will tempt the music enthusiasts. When comes to connectivity and sharing functions, it features Bluetooth and USB. It supports GPRS and E-Book Reader too. The handset supports MMS/WAP/GPRS, as well as MP3/ AAC/MIDI / WAV/AMR formats for an audio player. It sports wire-less FM Radio with FM scheduling.
The handset also supports a range of social networking apps including Facebook, Yahoo! Launcher, Twitter, and an instant messenger Nimbuzz that supports Yahoo, Skype, MSN, and more. It is also designed with 4-active screens and desktop widgets which make it user-friendly to browse through recent applications on the device. This option enables users to select from an array of live wallpapers.
