Now-a-days, market is flooded with several types of Android tablets from different companies. So, it’s not a surprise that new manufacturing firms enter the Android tablets market. Micromax, one of the top Indian mobile phone makers has also launched its first tablet, Micromax Booklet P300. This cool and stylish tablet is high-end slate and budget friendly. The company has not made any official announcement about the release date of the tablet but it has been spotted on Homeshop18, online retail store, on 15th March at Rs.7999. At Homeshop18, it is currently out of stock and there is not any information about the estimated date of availability.
Micromax Booklet P300 is powered by 1.2 Ghz A10 processor and Google’s latest Android OS, Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) with flash support and customized user interface. It comes with 7-inch TFT LCD capacitive multi Touchscreen display with a resolution of 800x 480px. The screen provides the pure clear view as of HD retina display. It sports only 0.3 MP VGA camera in the front for video calling which is a huge disadvantage and there is also no rear facing camera.
Users are able to play HD videos at 1080p and with the help of HDMI they can share it on big flat screens. It has 4 GB internal storage, 512 MB RAM memory expandable up to 32GB through microSD cards. It is preloaded with Google powered apps and services such as Gmail, Google Talk, Google Search, YouTube, Google Maps, etc. It sports standard Lithium-polymer battery which provides continuous web browsing for up to 4 hrs.
This unique, sleek designed Booklet P300 has connectivity options like 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi connectivity, USB v2.0, 3G/EVDO and HDMI Output. In this device, the 3G connectivity is made possible via 3G USB dongle. For 3D data browsing, the tablet includes a SIM card slot. Till now, its availability for outside the India is not known. You will get this tablet with Charging Adaptor, User Guide, USB Cable and 1 year warranty from the company.
