MSG is slow Poison

Alcohol, nicotine, and many drugs are very harmful for human being but the most harmful than these drugs is a chemical, MSG, which is a widespread and silent killer and easily found in your kitchen cabinets. MSG stands for monosodium glutamate and used as food additive to enhance the flavor of food that widely used in Chinese food. The products such as canned soups, crackers, meats, salad dressings, frozen dinners and many more are made more testy, fresh and good in smell with the addition of MSG. MSG is normally found in your local restaurants and supermarkets, in your child's school canteen and, incredibly, even in baby foodstuff and baby recipe. MSG is a silent killer means it can do major damage to your health slowly and silently.

MSG is sodium salt of the naturally occurring non-essential amino acid, glutamic acid and made from bacterial fermentation; it is acceptable for celiacs following a gluten-free diet. A Japanese man Kikunae Ikeda isolated MSG in 1908, and in 1909, Ajinomoto Corporation of Japan subsequently patented MSG. It came out as a white crystalline powder, which, on the connection with water, quickly detach into sodium cations and glutamate anions. MSG is roughly 78 percent free glutamic acid, 21 percent sodium, and up to 1 percent contaminants. By the fermentation of carbohydrates with the use of bacterial or yeast species from genus like Arthrobacter, Microbacterium, Brevibacterium, and Corynebacterium, you can get MSG. MSG is known as different names so to save your life, remove these ingredients from your food/diet.

According to Food and Drug Administration (FDA) of United States, MSG was safe for most people when "eaten at customary levels". After eating MSG, people experienced "Chinese Restaurant Syndrome" and the numerous side effects, from numbness to heart palpitations. MSG is an excitotoxin, which excites cells to the point of damage or death, causing brain damage to varying degrees and MSG is the cause of disabilities, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, Lou Gehrig's disease and more, according to Dr. Russell Blaylock.

Dr. Blaylock said, "When an excess of food-borne excitotoxins, such as MSG, hydrolyzed protein soy protein isolate and concentrate, natural flavoring, sodium caseinate and aspartate from aspartame, are consumed, these glutamate receptors are over-stimulated, producing cardiac arrhythmias. When magnesium stores are low, as we see in athletes, the glutamate receptors are so sensitive that even low levels of these excitotoxins can result in cardiac arrhythmias and death."

Many other adverse effects of MSG:

  • Obesity
  • Eye damage
  • Depression
  • Headaches
  • Fatigue and disorientation

According to FDA, who have eaten "large doses" of MSG or those who have asthma are the certain groups of people in which "short-term reactions" known as MSG Symptom Complex can occur.

According to the FDA, MSG Symptom Complex can involve symptoms such as:

  • Weakness
  • Numbness
  • Burning sensation
  • Tingling
  • Rapid heartbeat
  • Facial pressure or tightness
  • Chest pain or difficulty breathing
  • Headache
  • Nausea
  • Drowsiness
