August brings double enjoyment for India, as on the 15th August there will be a great celebration of freedom festival and later on BMW India, a German manufacturer will release its new, most awaited BMW X 3 model on 25th August in Pune. The car will definitely capture peoples' attention when it runs on the road or even when it stands on the road. BMW X3 is available in diesel and petrol variants. New BMW X3 will be priced at around Rs 41.2 lakhs for its petrol version and around Rs 42.2 lakhs for its diesel variants. This car will be assembled in the Chennai facility and it will come throughout the CKD route in India. BMW X3 will take its entry as a new Crossover SUV type version and it will rapidly compete with the rivals like Audi Q5 and upcoming Mercedes Benz GLK Class.
The car is a great blend of state-of-the-art technology, style and luxury. It will come with supportive seats and an optional sunroof for convenience and comfort. It brings a decent acceleration and smooth ride also. BMW X3 sports essential feature of good ground clearance which makes the car efficient for even bad road conditions. The DSC of the car BMW X3 SAV continuously monitors lateral acceleration and wheel rotation. The exclusive X-Drive system automatically adjusts to the any type of the terrain.
The diesel variant of new BMW X3 will be motorized by 2-liter, four pot turbo xDrive20d engine that can able to generate a maximum power of 176 hp along with a highest torque of 350Nm. This version takes less than 10 seconds to break the speed wall of 100 km/h. Whereas the petrol variant powered with a 2.5 liter six pot turbo xDrive25i petrol engine which can produce a highest power of 210 Bhp along with peak torque of 246 Nm. Currently, the car will be introduced only with the diesel variants and the petrol variants are estimated to come later on.
Always safety features are become the forte of the German cars. This time also BMW X3 is equipped with the standard safety features like Hill Descent Control (HDC), Cornering Brake Control (CBC), Automatic Differential Brake (ADB-X), Brake-Force Display, Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), front and rear Park Distance Control, a child seat fastening in the front passenger seat, and an alarm system with remote control, which provides you complete control over the car on different types of ground.
The new BMW X3 will be come with modern features like everlasting four-wheel drive technology, keyless entry and with Micro Hybrid Technology or start-stop which lower emission and higher fuel efficiency. The well tuned suspension system makes the car’s overall ride a less rough and give such a great experience on the road. BMW X3 will be equipped with excellent handling technologies.
