Walt Disney's 3D animated movie, Car is back with its sequel ‘Cars 2.’ The Cars 2 will carry on the basic story that based on the friendship of racing superstar Lightning McQueen and tow truck Mater. Cars 2 comes with some new characters along with old cast. This upcoming animated movie is set to hit the theaters in Disney Digital 3D form on June 24, 2011. The Cars 2 is the follow-up to the Golden Globe Award winning 2006’s animated feature film, Cars. At the Pixar Animation Studios, the movie is produced and Walt Disney Pictures is distributors of the movie. John Lasseter is director and Brad Lewis co-director of this 3D animated movie Cars. Throughout the movie, the varied colored cars will be appeared in their assorted roles as secret agents, threatening characters and race competitors of World Grand Prix championship.

Movie story:

The main casts of the movie are a racecar Lightning McQueen and his best friend tow truck, Mater. During the Cars 2 movie, both will be appeared at new places as racers of the World Grand Prix championship to prove world’s fastest car. Lightning McQueen’s pit team and their boss Mater travel across the world for the ‘Race of Champions’ which occur at five diverse countries including Italy, Tokyo, France, London, and Germany.

Accidentally, Mater is entrapped in his own international espionage world. He is caught up in the case of mistaken identity during saving the life of a British secret agent Aston Martin who identified as Finn McMissile. Mater and McQueen will require their passports. During the race at London, Italy and Tokyo, they take part against a mass of new and deserving competitors.

Mater is trapped between supporting his best friend on a race competition and his role in global spying. He reaches on explosive chase through the streets of Tokyo and Europe beside a team of British spies and global bad guys. The movie will be released in to US theaters on June 24th, 2011 and on July 22, 2011 at the UK.

Lightning McQueen:

Lightning McQueen is lead character of the Cars 2 movie as young, fast racecar. Actually the name of the character is formed on the name of the animator Glenn McQueen who expired due to skin cancer. The voice of the cast is expressed by actor Owen Wilson. Lightning McQueen features his role as best friend of tow Mater in this movie.

Mater:

Mater stars a fictional character of baby blue colored tow truck in the movie. Larry the Cable Guy gives his voice for this character. In this movie, Mater is invited by his best friend Lightning to join his pit crew and for this first time Mater departs Carburetor County and arrives in Tokyo and where he was trapped in to the international espionage. The cast perhaps formed on the basis of 1951 International Harvester tow truck or 1955-57 Chevrolet. The Mater was also spotted in several Cars series and movies including Cars Toons series, Mater and the Ghostlight short film and the Cars Mater-National video game.

Finn McMissile:

In the movie, Finn McMissile stars his role as British spy of Mater that is voiced by Michael Caine. During the World Grand Prix race, Finn plans a secret mission. The character is creation of James Bond's 1964 Aston Martin DB5. Design of Finn is sleek and timeless.

Mack:

The cast of Mark is voiced by John Ratzenberger. The cast is featured in a 1980s-era Mack Super-Liner truck which has license plate "RUSTEZ3." The Mack truck is designed by John Ratzenberger’s father. Mack wraps trailer of Lightning McQueen's races. Make is a devoted associate of the Rust-eze Medicated Bumper Ointment Team. Mack was also featured in other car versions of Pixar films including A Bug's Life, Toy Story, and Monster's Inc.

Luigi:

Luigis is inspired by a 1959 Fiat 500. Tony Shalhoub gives voice for this cast. He is owner of the a tire shop, Casa Della Tires that is identified for its Leaning Tower of Tires. An Italian forklift truck, Guido is his assistant as well as his best friend. Luigi is big fan of Ferraris. He is also pit crew of the Lightning.

Guido:

A forklift, Guido is best friend of Luigi and works at Luigi's Tires shop. The voice of this cast is expressed by Guido Quaroni. He wants to perform a pit stop during the real racecar. And he also achieves his dream by being a part of Lightning's new pit crew in which he hit the record of the fastest pit stop in Piston Cup as changing all four tires in four seconds.

Sarge:

Sarge is appeared as role of Willys Jeep who is colored with a military green paint. Paul Dooley provides voice for this cast. It has a Sergeant Major (E-9) insignia on his front side. He is inspired by a World War II era Willys MB. He is member of Lightning's pit team. He also planned to open an Army Camp to give training for SUVs and 4x4s in rough and dirt terrain.

Holley Shiftwell:

Holley Shiftwell is new female character in Disney/Pixar's Cars 2 movie in which she plays role of good-looking young British secret-agent trainee who helps British spy, Finn McMissile in his plan. She is love interest of Mater in the movie. Holley Shiftwell is purple curves car. Emily Mortimer gives voice for this character.
