The DDA housing scheme 2010 will come up with great offers. The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is all set to declare a scheme for 15,000 fresh apartments in September 2010.

The announcement of the scheme and the allotment of the houses will take about three months duration. On Thursday 5th August 2010, DDA vice-chairperson Ashok Kumar Nigam said that these would be flats located in areas like Jasola, Narela, Vasant Kunj and Dwarka. Almost 8,000 houses are ready for possession out of 15,000 houses while the rest are in various stages of completion.

Numerous flats from these would become ready for possession once the officials and athletes for Commonwealth Games vacate the same in the middle of October after the mega event. In Vasant Kunj pockets, some 2000 flats are currently under finishing stage. Before the mega sporting event, another 1500 odd flats will also be completed to host the officials and foreigners during CWG, have not yet been completed. For possession, they are likely to take another four months. The DDA officials expect that over 10 Lakh applications shall be received for the allotment of 8,000 flats.
