New Empires of Steel Demo: Download & Gameplay Videos available

In a recent time, Battlefront.com and Atomicgamer software have launched a free beta demo for a new innovative global domination strategy game “Empires of Steel”. To improved this game exeperience, over 250 items have been included such as Improved AI, adjustments to game-balance, new game-options, new victory conditions, improved map generator, hotkeys etc. New Empires of Steel Demo is now available to free download on www.empiresofsteel.com.

The Empires of Steel game requires a graphics accelerator. It also requires at least 1 GB of memory, 200 MB of disk space, and Windows XP or a later Windows Operating System.

Minimum System Requirements for Empires of Steel:

1 Ghz Processor
1 GB of RAM
Graphics Accelerator and Video card capable of 800x600 resolutions at 16-bit color
100 MB of hard disk space
Microsoft Windows XP or later Windows Operating System
Mouse (or some other device that fulfills the same function)
Ability to install game with "full administrator rights" (Vista/Windows 7)

The game’s free demo will give a chance to player can test the ability of their computer to handle the game. The EoS has many of the unique features that you can be able to explore and test in its demo version. The details of the game engine, an in-game manual is provided in the demo for explaining most of the game functions in detail.

However, the New Empires of Steel Demo is different than the upcoming full released in a few ways such as:

You can only play on two maps - the tutorial map (solo) as well as a special demo map (solo and multiplayer, internet and LAN). There are no game length or play time restrictions per session.
You can open and use the full-featured map editor but you cannot load nor save any maps
You can open and browse the online file exchange service to look for mods, maps, unit rulesets and other user created content, but cannot actually download nor use any of it
You can in fact use the in-game auto-update function to download the latest beta demo upgrades that we will release over the course of the next weeks as various bug reports from the open beta come in. Check for updates often! However, this updater will not allow you to download full game upgrades.
The beta demo will expire automatically after 180 days.
