Toyota Motor Corp. is now going to launch the diesel version of its Corolla Altis in India. Toyota Corolla is one of the Toyota’s worldwide best selling cars, Launched in the Indian car market more than half a decade ago. After successful launch of the petrol variant of Corolla Altis, Toyota is now going to introduce new D-segment contender, the Toyota Corolla Altis diesel. This new car will be launched for diesel engine lovers.

Toyota Altis is one of the biggest car brands, which has been launched by Japanese car maker Toyota Motors. In India, this car would be produced at its Indian plant Toyota Kirloskar Motor. New Toyota Corolla has amazing style and improved engine versions with advanced technologies like engine transmission, which gear up the vehicle for better fuel effectiveness. Toyota Altis equipped with a small and sensible 1.4-litre diesel option. The engine of car has a maximum power of 102PS and maximum 200 Nm torque. Fuel efficiency of the car will be 21.43 kmpl.

The diesel version of Altis is equipped with some design enhancement to distinguish itself from the petrol version. The new Toyota Corolla has crystal head lamps, turn indicator mounted on side-mirrors, newly designed grille, body color bumpers, remote key filler, rear defogger and OVRM indictors. Interior of the car has arm rest with cup holder, centralized locking, automatic climate control system, and power windows.

Mr. Sandeep Singh, Deputy Managing Director, Marketing, Toyota Kirloskar Motors Ltd. said, “We will launch the Corolla Altis diesel anytime between 20th and 23rd of July. We haven’t finalized the date, but it will be on one of these three days.”

Toyota Corolla Altis Diesel Price:

The new Altis Diesel will be available in the market in 3 variants and the official price list has not yet been declared. Some sources have indicated that the prices will range between Rs. 75000 to Rs. 125000 more compared with the corresponding petrol variants. Moreover, considering the current prices of Corolla Altis Petrol the Altis Diesel, the price of new Toyota corolla car is expected to be priced approx between Rs. 11 Lakh to Rs. 14.5 Lakh ex-showroom.
