NIOS stands for The National Institute of Open Schooling which is formerly known as National Open School (NOS) Secondary (Class X). The results of the Senior Secondary (Class 12) and Secondary (Class 10) April / May Examination Results will be declared on June 9 and June 10 respectively. NIOS was established in November, 1989. It was established as an autonomous organization in pursuance of National Policy on Education 1986 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. A number of Vocational, Life Enrichment and community oriented courses are being provided by the NIOS besides General and Academic Courses at Secondary and Senior Secondary level. Elementary level Courses through its Open Basic Education Programs (OBE) are also offered by it. Government of India through a gazette notification vested NIOS with the authority to examine and certify learners registered with it up to pre degree level courses.

How to get results on internet?

Visit the site at www.ExamResults.net. After open the site you will have to log on. Roll Number is only required by the students at the time of the log on. When you enter Roll Number, after that instantly your mark sheet would be displayed.

How to get results through SMS?

For Secondary (Class 10) Examination Results 2010, you will have to send the SMS - NIOS10<space>ROLLNO to 56263. To get more idea see the example which is given below:

Example: If your Roll Number is 123456789, send the following SMS to 56263 - NIOS10 123456789 - Send it to 56263

If you want to get result on your mobile phone, then you will have to Logon on to www.ExamResults.net and register yourself with your Roll Number. The results will be sent to your Email-id once the result has been declared.
