Nissan brought the 2012 Nissan GT-R Facelift Car and showed it to the press and put an official image and details of the car to their press page that are given below.
Today the first details of the 2012 Nissan GT-R surfaced on the internet. At the Paris Auto Show, Nissan made quite an interesting move. This car will have ED driving lights/daytime running lights integrated into the front fascia. A restyled front bumper has been also added by Nissan to improve the GT-R’s aerodynamic performance from 0.272 to 0.268 and redesigned rear diffuser to improve the rear downforce with almost 10%.
The Nissan GT-R will come with two new exterior colors: Aurora Flare Blue Pearl (color code RAY) and Nebula Opal Black (color code GAG). The base version is now called Pure Edition and in Japan is priced at 8,694,000 yen. A larger bump of 210,000 yen to 9,450,000 yen is received by The Premium edition in Japan.
The option list comprises: new Rays forged aluminum wheels, an attractive 3 layer ultra deep paint process known as Hyper Blue Black and a Hyper Titanium color, and a few updates on the interior. It will come with a modified front bumper, rear diffuse, and rear underspoiler, offering 10% more downforce. There will also be modifications made to the suspensions, brakes, wheels, and tires. The car is anticipated to advantage from chassis and engine modifications.
Official statement is given by the Japanese automaker: "The GT-R engineering team are currently at the Nordschliefe, the legendary circuit in Germany, where they are in the process of signing-off the final updates on the forthcoming enhanced GT-R. Full details of the enhanced GT-R will be announced on 18th October 2010."
