Nowadays, the market is loaded with Smartphone or Tablet. Even though Nokia has announced the latest addition to its feature phone lineup named ‘Nokia X2-02’. The phone would definitely appeal most to music lovers who are looking for a cheap handset. It is very affordable music phone running on the series 40 UI. The Nokia X2-02 looks very common to the previously announced Nokia X2-05. It is thinner and lighter phone than X1-01.

Dual SIM

Nokia X2-02 is a dual-SIM dual-standby device; having only one transceiver that means you can call or use the internet on the first SIM card, the second SIM is inactive for all that time. On the positive side, one transceiver means better battery life. The phone has an easy Swappable port which allows you to swap another SIM very easily without any extra efforts.

Display and Other features

The phone is packed with 2.2-inch QVGA TFT Screen with 240 x 320 pixel display. The other features of the phone include FM radio receiver, an FM transmitter, 2MP Camera, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The phone comes with microSD card slot which expands the storage capacity up to 32GB. Its dimensions are 113 x 50 x 15 mm and weighing 71 g. It operates on the frequency of 900, 1800 MHz.

Music

Nokia X2-02 offers devoted MP3 player, music controls and built-in loudspeaker. It is able to push music wirelessly to speakers such as your car audio system. It can share and record tracks from the radio with its FM antenna and “Play via Radio” recording feature. The phone has an internal antenna through which you can directly listen to FM radio via loudspeaker.

Software and Social apps

The phone is running on Series 40 that offers some basic Internet connectivity though Nokia Browser. As well, it is packed with pre-loaded social apps like Facebook and Twitter apps on the homescreen through which you can get quick access to your social updates. In terms of connectivity, it has Bluetooth 2.1 and USB 2.0.

Battery

It is equipped with Standard Li-Ion 1020 mAh battery which provides talk time up to 9.7 hours and standby time up to 18.5 days.

Price and Color

The price of the candy bar phone will be around Rs. 4000. The X2-02 will be available in Dark Silver, Violet, Orange, Black with Bright Red, and Ocean Blue. It will be available in January 2012.
