Now Support India Against Corruption with Mobile App

Thousands and millions of people not only from India but around the globe shows their support for Anna's Anti-Corruption Movement by different means of social media. IAC movement also has been spread on Twitter with jumble tags of #annahazare, #isupportannahazare, #DelhiPolice, #kiranbedi, #janlokpal and #ArvindKejriwal. Also Facebook has features like “events” and “messages” along with number of pages and groups to support and popularize the movement. This movement gained momentum thanks in large amount on different social networking sites. Keeping this in mind, the new and easy way of mobile application has been find out. Now, supporters can use their mobile devices to support the movement and express their views regarding it rather than from email or any other public forum. The latest mobile app of "India Against Corruption" comes to support the movement launched by experienced activist Anna Hazare.

‘India Against Corruption’ is a movement to be held by citizens to demand powerful anti-corruption laws which include complete removal of corrupt politicians and officials from the country. These laws are named as Lokpal bills. Such Lokpal bills were introduced by number of times since 1968. But sadly they were never passed by the Indian Parliament up till now. On 5th April, 2011, Hazare began his fast at Jantar Mantar in Delhi with a view to pass out the Lokpal bills in the parliament, but not succeed.

At present, the government's version of Lokpal bill said to be passed in parliament doesn't match to that Lokpal bill which Anna wanted to pass in the parliament. Finally, Anna Hazare has decided to come out on streets for hunger strike in order to make it in a right manner. Anna is not alone this time as the IAC movement has brought together millions of people to support Anna by advanced means of media.

To aware the general public regarding the latest news and happenings in the IAC movement, two applications have been created. One is ‘India Against Corruption', and another is the 'Lokpal Messenger'. You can get quick access to these applications only on Android OS version of 1.6 or up and Symbian operating system based phones.

The IAC app has been developed by Juvenus Technologies, a company start-up with a team of NITians and IITian and was uploaded on Android Market on 6th August. This app contains eight different tabs such as RSS Feeds, events, videos, polling, Q&A, write to them, donate and stay connected.

The RSS feeds manage latest news about the movement and through videos' section you can deal with well-known personalities speaking about the movement. You can cast your votes on various aspects of Jan Lokpal by accessing Poll tab. You have to give a missed call to +912261550789 to get registered at "Stay Connected" section which also keeps you informed about the movement.

You are able to record a Gtalk voice response to the movement. You can send your written feedback or can give money for the movement throughout the remaining tabs. This application also enables your sharing through Facebook and Twitter.

Another application of Lokpal Messenger has been created by students of the Sastra University. Both applications have same features and same purpose. If you are Android users, then you can download the IAC App from the Android Store without paying any charge and Nokia users can download Lokpal Messenger app on Ovi Store. Both apps are totally free; you need not to pay anything to download any of the application. In case, if you don't have any smartphone though you can give your support by leaving a voice message or giving a missed call on the above mentioned number.
