Orange county fair is also known OC Fair in short, a special county annual event that held at the OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa, California. Each year, this event begins during the second week of July and running for 23 days. Orange county fair 2010 runs from Friday, July 16 to Sunday, August 15 open through Wednesday to Sunday. “The Beat Goes On’ is the theme of Orange county fair 2010 California, celebrating the 120th year of fair. It offering a wide variety of exhibits, foods, entertainment, rides and hands-on activities. The event is organized by 32nd District Agricultural Association, State of California.

This year, the OC Fair includes events like livestock shows and competitions, pig races, vegetable and garden exhibits, and equestrian. There are also home arts and crafts, local youth and adults performing, circus acts, carnival rides, motocross, demolition derby and lots of fair food. In the exhibit halls, technology is well-represented as well with all kinds of equipment demonstrated and sold. There are free concerts, magic and acrobats at various stages around the fairgrounds. In the OC Arena and Pacific Amphitheatre, sports, events and concerts are ticketed. Admission to the Orange County Fair is also included in concert ticket prices.

Operating hours: -12pm -12AM Wednesday to Friday and 10AM -12AM Saturday to Sunday, closed Mondays and Tuesdays.

Parking: $7, $12 preferred parking and buses

General admission: - 10 dollars per person; 7 dollars for the elderly and older than 60; 5 dollars for children ages 6-12; free for children under the age of 6. Free tickets for the opening day of Orange County Fair in 2010, season pass also available on www.ocfair.com

Thursdays - Kids 12 and under are FREE all day.

Fridays - seniors $5, includes free Ferris wheel and merry-go-round rides.

Unlimited Ride Wristbands - Wristbands are available for $25 on Wednesdays and Thursdays. They must be purchased before 5 pm and can be used until 7 pm. Wristbands can also be purchased online.

More Promotions - $1 Food Tastings Fridays noon - 4 pm; $1 rides and games, Fridays until 8 pm; free ride on La Grande Wheel with Pacific Amphitheatre ticket stub.
