Orissa Board of Secondary Education is a Body Corporate constituted under the Orissa Secondary Education Act, 1953. Secondary Education is regulated, controlled and developed by it in the State of Orissa. To equip students for different occupations, varied courses are provided by it to prepare them for University education and to equip them for various cultural purposes. A prescribed course of study is examined by it and successful candidates are awarded by it. In the year 1955, it started functioning and is now situated at Bajrakabati Road, Cuttack-753001, Orissa (India). The Board is going to introduce new scheme of studies for Secondary students.
