PGIMER (Post graduate institute of Medical Education and Research) is famous medical college. It is situated in Chandigarh. This institute was started by late Sardar Partap Singh Kairon in 1962. This institute has a wonderful hospital named as Nehru Hospital. This institute runs under Union Territory of Chandigarh. PGIMER offers courses for 2010, like First Year Junior Resident (For MD/MS courses), First Year Junior Residents (House Job) for Oral Health Sciences, Master in Hospital Administration (MHA), DM / MCh, PhD Programme, M.Sc./ Certificate Courses.
