Philips wake up light alarm clock Review

FaceBookTwitter

Philips has always been known for creating ground-breaking products. An iPhone dock is disclosed by Philips which is wake up light. The Wake-up light can be classified as a “dawn simulator”. Dawn simulators are an alarm clock which has the capacity to slowly increase the brightness of an attached light bulb. To attain 100% light intensity it usually takes 30 minutes.

The Philips Wake-up Light with alarm always wakes the person kindly. A large light box is used that simulate a natural sunrise with light which starts 30 minutes earlier than the alarm is set to go off. The light falls on the eyes during that half an hour and helps the body to produce energy hormones. After waking up, the person feels more energetic. Instead of the sudden interruption of a repeating buzzer, people can wake up to soothing sounds and a nice calm light. With three brightness settings, the Philips HP3490 Wake-up light with iPod Dock has an easy to read LCD display.

The person can select wake up with music from their iPod or one of the natural wake-up sounds. All these sounds start quietly and gradually increase in volume. The clock includes the sound like singing birds of the forest, sounds of the African jungle or gently ringing wind chimes. There is also a bonus that the iPod is recharged overnight. The Philips Wake-up Light can also help the person to sleep easily. The slowly lessening light and sounds will soothe the mind, relax the person and help to sleep quickly. Different types of Philips wake up light alarm clock are available in the market.

Review:
People always had good experiences with Philips products. Philips HF3490 Wake-up Light is a pretty expensive alarm clock, it takes a minute to fully understand how the 3 wheels on the side work, but once the person lock into the process, it is very easy to use. People can remove the iPod base and just use the lamp if their tabletop space is limited. They can adjust the brightness of the display. Dock charges the iPod that is an extra benefit of it.

Review:
People really liked Philips HF3480 Wake-up Light initially. They gave it five stars in their original review because it worked like a charm and it was such a wonderful alternative to traditional alarm clocks. They really like the light, and how it turns on and off gradually. Also they like the different choices of sounds to wake up to. Very simple to learn the function of the product, and they enjoy the design, too.

Review:
Philips HF3475 Wake up Light has proved to be a pleasant way to wake up. The light really does lessen the shock of getting up in the morning since the people become `aware' of it before the alarm sounds. It is accompanied by the people choice of sound which only activates at the actual time they set, unlike the light which very gradually brightens as the alarm time approaches. People chose the `soft chimes in the wind' sound which is a far more civilized way to wake up than the rude suddenness of a traditional alarm clock. There are some minor issues to consider before purchase though. Firstly, the instructions state that the in-built bulb cannot be replaced, but it is of the low energy type anyway and with normal usage is reckoned to have a lifespan of around 7 years. Secondly there is a very low `hum' emitted from the lamp; this certainly isn't noticeable enough to bother most people but there may be some very sensitive people who will not like it.

Review:
Philips HF3470 Wake up Light is good for those who lack natural sunlight in their bedrooms this will certainly help them get their day started, 4 natural sound settings and sleek design. It won’t really make an emotional impact on someone who has lots of sunlight in their bedroom, lack of 3.5MM jack for external sound sources, FM Radio signal lacks signal strength on some channels.

People think Philips HF3463 Wake up Light is great to wake up, the set up is easy and the radio works well, with the particularly nice feature that it slowly comes up to volume so there is no shock awakening after the slow illumination of the light. Their warning is that it makes a low electric humming noise at all times, either from the transformer or dimmer switch. It is the best ever present, during the winter.

Review:
People think that the biggest benefit of Philips HF3461 Wake up Light is that, it builds up from a soft glow to a full light for 30 minutes prior to the time that has set for the alarm. People hate getting up in the morning and will do anything to stay in bed, but with the wake up light they just feel ready to get up. It has been medically approved, but there is no better endorsement than someone it has really worked for. When the alarm does go off, people can choose from a radio station or a selection of natural sounds (beach, frogs, birds.) The light and sound can be turned off independently or together, so if they want to turn the light off but keep the radio on, they can. The buttons to turn off are on top, easy to get to and big enough to find - although sometimes people turn the light off rather than the sound or vice versa.
