A 70 years old Grammy Awards winner American Singer Ray Stevens has released his new song “We the People” on December 11, 2009. The song is about “Obama Care” and the health-care reform bills that have passed both houses of Congress. The song is just as contentious with the Support of President Barack Obama and his policies. The song video is becoming a fast anthem of the Tea Party movement.
The song “We The People” is written by Ray Stevens, and the song is a YouTube sensation that has been viewed one-and-a-half million times in three weeks. The song video was launched on January 1, 2010 by video hosting web-site Youtube. The copy of the single will be available soon after and now originally available only as a digital download.
Steven says about his song that, it is a novelty song and expresses his personal beliefs. He added that the “health-care” bill is a misnomer – it is not actually designed to provide health care. The song expresses exactly feeling of the majority of Americans toward “ObamaCare”. In this song Stevens has shown the front background of the President Obama's first State of the Union, the White House lawn, U.S. Capitol Building with American flag. He also appears as almost every character in the nearly four-minute video, including a plumber, doctor, grandmother, construction worker, farmer and founding father.
