Recently, a designer “Heyon You” has created flexible phone concept, Samsung Galaxy Skin which features flexible AMOLED display and a specialized Android. Samsung’s first flexible Android Smartphone is set to release in Q2 of 2012. The concept of flexible display is amazing as it bends, flexes, and adjusts to the task at hand.
Number of shapes and poses variation are possible while listening to music, projecting images from the phone, or using the GPS in your car. The upper part and bottom part of the Phone is designed and made with hard material while middle part is undersigned and made with flexible material so, the “design” of this part is up to the user that means user can design their own phone as per their choice.
Samsung Galaxy Skin is a super skinny Smartphone available with flexible 4″ AMOLED display (800×480) which is prepared by using plastic polyimide substrate. Though this type of AMOLED display uses less power, it provides high-quality brightness compared to normal Samsung AMOLED screens. It is powered by unique version of Google mobile operating system, ‘Android Flexy’ which changes the interface as per the current position of phone.
The upcoming Samsung mobile phone comes with other well-known features such as 8 megapixel camera and VGA front camera with auto focus, stop motion, self-portrait, Panorama shots and action shot; 1.2 GHz processor, 1 GB RAM, Micro SD card slot, and 1500 mAh battery.
