Tiger Re-location

Anonymous — Thu, 10/14/2010 - 19:30

The first aerial trans-location of an endangered species was done by an IAF pilot - Wing Commander Vimal Raj. He transported Dara ( a male tiger) from Ranthambore to Sariska on 28 Jun 2008. This was the first ever aerial trans-location of an endangered species. Due to this and further efforts, the roar of the tiger is heard in Sariska. For more information google up Ranthambore, Sariska and wiki-answers for aerial trans-location.
